I find that Smashing Magazine has some of the best design oriented content around, and one of this week’s posts, Typographic Design Patterns and Best Practices, is no exception. Amongst some of the pearls of wisdom, Arial and Georgia are the two most popular fonts (with arial being a header and georgia being a body), headings are on average between 20 - 26px, and body text is 13px.
